MOBILE X-RAY AREA OPERATIONS MANAGER – NEVADA

Mantro Mobile Imaging is seeking a Nevada-licensed X-ray professional to manage and support mobile radiology operations across Nevada and California.
This position is responsible for daily field operations, technologist supervision, staffing coordination, clinical quality, equipment and fleet oversight, and facility relationships. The Area Operations Manager will also perform mobile X-ray examinations in Nevada when needed to maintain service coverage.
The position is based in Las Vegas and reports directly to the Administrator and company leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations and Staffing
Coordinate daily mobile X-ray operations and field coverage- Plan staffing and schedules based on patient volume and service needs
- Work closely with dispatch and administration to support timely patient care
- Address callouts, coverage concerns, urgent service needs, and workflow issues
- Monitor field performance, productivity, documentation, and service quality
- Support consistent communication between the Nevada and California teams
- Provide regular operational updates to administration
Team Leadership
- Directly supervise and support X-ray technologists
- Participate in interviewing, hiring recommendations, orientation, and training
- Conduct field observations, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Assist technologists with clinical, technical, and workflow questions
- Identify training needs and support continued staff development
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable state requirements
Clinical Quality and Field Support
- Monitor image quality, positioning, radiation safety, and documentation standards
- Serve as a clinical resource for portable X-ray procedures and mobile workflow
- Perform mobile X-ray examinations in Nevada when needed for staffing coverage, patient volume, or urgent service needs
- Ensure patient examinations and related documentation are completed accurately and promptly
- Support safe and compassionate care for elderly, medically fragile, and mobility-limited patients
- Perform X-ray examinations in California only when appropriately licensed or permitted
Equipment, Fleet, and Supplies
- Oversee company vehicles and portable imaging equipment in Nevada and California
- Maintain accurate inventory and assignment records for vehicles, X-ray units, detectors, computers, chargers, accessories, and supplies
- Track equipment locations, serial numbers, condition, maintenance, repairs, and replacement needs
- Coordinate approved equipment and vehicle maintenance with vendors and administration
- Monitor vehicle mileage, fuel cards, registration, cleanliness, maintenance schedules, and reported damage
- Help ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, safe, properly stored, charged, and ready for service
- Monitor supply levels and coordinate replenishment for both offices
- Assist with authorized equipment and supply transfers between Nevada and California
- Maintain regular equipment, vehicle, repair, and inventory reports
Facility and Referral Relationships
- Maintain professional relationships with healthcare facilities and referral partners
- Visit current, former, and prospective referral sources in Nevada and California
- Present approved information about Mantro’s mobile imaging services
- Follow up on facility questions, feedback, and service concerns
- Coordinate with administration to support timely resolution of facility needs
- Identify potential service opportunities and communicate them to company leadership
- Maintain records of facility visits, contacts, follow-up needs, and outcomes
TRAVEL
- This position is based in Las Vegas, Nevada
- Periodic travel to Southern California is required
- Travel may include staff support, operational review, equipment inspections, inventory, maintenance coordination, supply oversight, and facility visits
- Mantro arranges and pays approved transportation and lodging expenses upfront
- Employees are not expected to personally fund routine approved business travel
- California imaging licensure is not required unless the employee will perform X-ray examinations in California
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Nevada license authorizing the performance of X-ray examinations applicable to Mantro’s services
- Nevada limited-license and ARRT-registered technologists may apply
- Professional X-ray experience with strong positioning and image-quality skills
- Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Previous leadership, supervisory, training, or operational experience
- Ability to safely operate, maneuver, and transport portable X-ray equipment
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple operational priorities
- Ability to communicate professionally with patients, employees, healthcare facilities, vendors, and company leadership
- Willingness and ability to travel periodically between Nevada and California
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Mobile X-ray or long-term-care imaging experience
- Experience directly supervising two or more employees
- Experience with staffing, scheduling, dispatch, or field-service coordination
- Experience managing vehicles, medical equipment, inventory, or supplies
- Experience working with healthcare facilities and referral partners
- Familiarity with digital radiography, PACS, and mobile dispatching systems
- California X-ray authorization
COMPENSATION
Competitive salaried compensation based on applicable licensure, mobile imaging experience, leadership background, and overall qualifications.
This is a full-time W-2 salaried position. Approved business travel is arranged and paid upfront by Mantro.
