Duties
- Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident engagement to ensure a high-quality living environment.
- Manage tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts promptly, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Coordinate property leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and upselling available units to maximize occupancy and running open houses.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and other relevant legal requirements.
- Utilize property management software to perform data entry, rent collection, reporting, and record keeping efficiently.
- Supervise property maintenance activities and work closely with facilities management teams to ensure timely repairs and upkeep using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Administer legal administrative tasks including lease agreements, contracts, filing documents, and maintaining accurate tenant records.
- Handle conflict management with residents or vendors professionally while adhering to landlord-tenant law.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to uphold safety standards and coordinate necessary repairs or improvements.
- Promote community engagement through effective communication and fostering a positive living environment for residents.
Requirements
- Candidates must have reliable transportation
- Bilingual English and Spanish are an added bonus!
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
- Familiarity housing related compliance standards.
- Proficiency in property management software, AppFolio strongly desired, experience with data entry, reporting, and CRM tools is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally via phone etiquette and in person.
- Demonstrated conflict management skills coupled with negotiation abilities for lease renewals or contract discussions.
- Office experience including filing, legal documentation handling, contracts administration, and general administrative support.
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices to coordinate repairs effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks such as leasing activities, resident communication, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to upsell units or services confidently while maintaining positive resident relationships.
