Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Local Non-CDL Rollback / Tow Truck Delivery Driver with Basic Maintenance experience. This role involves safely delivering containers and related equipment within the local area, ensuring timely service and maintaining excellent customer interactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with warehouse operations, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and manual tasks efficiently.
Hours
This is a part-time position. We are in most need of someone to work afternoons and Saturdays.
Duties
- Safely operate the rollback or mule delivery system for local deliveries using route driving techniques
- Load and unload containers, equipment, and supplies using forklifts, a mule delivery system, and rollback truck
- Perform routine maintenance on containers
- Deliver containers and moving supplies to clients, providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and order fulfillment when not on delivery routes
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, adhering to company policies and safety standards
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar commercial driving role involving route driving
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; non-CDL license acceptable
- Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently as needed
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or container service is advantageous
- Ability to work independently, follow routes accurately, and manage time effectively
