We are seeking a versatile Installer Helper, Service Tech, and Chimney Sweeper to join our dynamic team in Farmington, MO. This role involves assisting with installation, maintenance, and cleaning of chimney systems, as well as supporting various construction-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and experience or interest in construction trades. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills across multiple areas including construction management, inspection, and specialized installation services.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and servicing of chimney systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Support the setup and operation of hand tools, power tools, during projects
- Perform chimney sweeping and cleaning using industry-specific techniques and equipment
IMMEDIATE POSITIONS AVAILABLE
*Self-Starter, Knowledge in Gas and Wood Stoves. Training is available. Be able to Troubleshoot problems, Truck, Equipment supplied. Paid on Experience, Must pass a Drug Test.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
*Outgoing *Mechanically inclined and familiar with use of standard tools *Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills *Able to read and follow technical information and specifications provided by the fireplace manufacturer *Customer Service Oriented *Able to work outside year round in temperature and weather extremes.
*Ability to work individually and in a team *Ability to write inspections and reports using clear and concise grammar and trade specific language
*Desire to learn and grow/willing to learn other areas of Best Clean Plus.
*Ability to climb ladders with no fear of heights
*Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs.
*Ability to work over-time if needed during the busy season
*Ability to pass certification exam within 6 months of hire
*Valid Driver's license with clean record
*Ability to pass an employment drug screen and background check
*High School Diploma or equivalent
