We are seeking skilled Journeyman or laborers looking for future advancement to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing materials, techniques, and safety protocols. You will work as part of a team to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Install roofing systems including shingles, tiles, and flat roofs according to specifications and blueprints.
- Repair or replace damaged roofing materials to ensure structural integrity and weatherproofing.
- Fabricate roofing components as needed to fit specific project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various roofing tasks.
- Perform inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
- Apply caulking and sealants as needed to prevent leaks and ensure durability.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople including maintenance person services for comprehensive project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
Skills
- Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in roofing applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site effectively.

Pay: $22.00 - $40.00 per hour
