Job Summary
We are seeking an excited and compassionate Bilingual (Spanish speaking) Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will provide advanced clinical care, perform comprehensive patient assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans across diverse medical populations. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and identify medical issues.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following proper protocols and safety standards.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties including emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and critical care.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system Athena Health for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records.
- Provide patient education on treatment options, medication management, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care strategies.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance medical knowledge and improve patient care practices.
- Support planning, case management, and utilization review to ensure comprehensive patient support during transitions of care.
- Participate in provider education discussions and remain up to date on best practices in primary healthcare.
Skills
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for seamless documentation.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Skilled in performing invasive procedures including spinal taps, sonography-guided interventions, and airway management.
- Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10), and billing practices for accurate documentation and reimbursement.
- Expertise in managing complex cases involving acute pain management, hospice & palliative medicine, or infectious disease care.
- Ability to work across multiple environments such as inpatient units, outpatient clinics, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educating patients of all ages—including children and elderly populations.
- Demonstrated capability in handling high-pressure situations with team coordination experience.
Qualifications
Must be:
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed as an AGNP or in FNP the state of New Jersey.
- Must have prescriptive authorization.
- Fluent in the Spanish language with an excellent understanding of medical Spanish terminology.
- Passionate about healthcare excellence and continuing education.
- Demonstrated ability to create and lead cohesive teams.
- Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
Education:
Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner training program leading to licensure as a Nurse Practitioner by New Jersey Board of Nursing with any required specialty area and demonstrated ability to provide the full scope of patient care.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
