GHR Healthcare is hiring a Shipping and Distribution Tech (Material Handler) to support warehouse and distribution operations in Ewing, NJ. The warehouse is affiliated with a reputable, nearby health system. This role is responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing medical supplies while assisting with warehouse setup and inventory management for a new operation.
Pay: $26.50/hr-$29/hr
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday ; 7AM - 3:30PM
- 13-week contract
Job Description:
- Pick, pack, stock, and put away inventory
- Load and unload delivery trucks
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Organize inventory and maintain a clean, orderly warehouse
- Assist with building inventory racks, labeling storage locations, and stocking new warehouse areas
- Perform inventory counts and replenish stock as needed
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed)
- Complete other warehouse and supply chain duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- At least 1 year of warehouse, supply chain, or inventory experience
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
