Position Details
Position: Associate Therapist (AMFT, APCC, ASW) or Licensed Clinician (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC)
Location: San Fernando, CA (Hybrid: In-Person & Telehealth)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Status: Part-Time
Expected Caseload: 10–15 direct client sessions per week
Compensation: $45–$55 per clinical hour (DOE). $25/hour for admin time.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and establish DSM-5 diagnoses.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect clients' strengths and goals.
- Provide high-quality individual, couples, and family psychotherapy.
- Complete progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries within required timelines.
- Coordinate care with providers and referral sources when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and ethical documentation in accordance with practice policies and payer requirements.
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
- Uphold the highest standards of clinical care, professionalism, and ethical practice.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active California BBS registration or license (AMFT, APCC, ASW, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC).
- Minimum of one year providing psychotherapy.
- Experience completing mental health assessments using DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.
- Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated cultural humility and ability to work with diverse populations.
- Spanish bilingual (required).
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to ethical practice.
Preferred:
- EMDR training or strong interest in trauma-informed care.
- Experience working with immigrant and underserved communities.
- Passion for continued learning and professional development.
