Small thriving business looking for experienced grill cooks, No Holidays, No Late Nights, No weekends, Monday - Friday hours vary from 8am-6:00 pm, Off Holidays paid. Free Lunch and beverages. Also includes making TIPS daily. 2 Weeks paid vacation after one year of service at July 4th week and week of Christmas.
Cook Duties and Responsibilities
- Setting up, cleaning, and organizing work stations
- Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
- Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift
- Taking orders over the phone
- Cooking order according to food health and safety standards
- Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes
- Handling multiple food orders at one time
- Making sure food is presentable
- Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides
- Delivering food order to patrons in a timely manner
- Storing all food properly
- Sanitizing and cleaning work stations and utensils
- Writing down food items and supplies that need to be reordered
- Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed
Cook Requirements and Qualifications
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Physical endurance to stand for an entire shift
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
- Able to quickly memorize complex or multiple orders
- High school degree or equivalent
- Previous experience as a busboy, washer, waiter, cook, or relevant work experience is a plus
- Computer skills and cashier experience a plus
- Able to work mornings into early evenings.. weekends OFF
- Able to read and write

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.50 - $15.00 per hour
