Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with hazardous materials, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Transport hazardous and non-hazardous freight using Dry Van trailers, tanker trailers, flatbeds, or specialized equipment as required.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across over-the-road (OTR) driving routes.
- Load and unload cargo manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of dangerous goods and logistics cargo.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all shipments, including manifests, delivery receipts, and compliance paperwork related to hazardous materials regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to ensure safety standards are met before departure and upon return.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any incidents during transit.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for Hazmat, Tanker, as applicable.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on hazardous materials transportation.
- 40 Hour Hazwopper and DOT with packaging training Required. Can provide trainings if needed.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR), and DOT safety standards.
- Experience operating different types of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers.
- Strong route planning skills utilizing GPS navigation systems for efficient delivery execution.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance; previous delivery driver experience preferred.

Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month
