Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly within food management, and will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff training, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. This role requires a hands-on leader who can foster a positive work environment while driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the establishment, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance skills in customer service and kitchen management.
- Coordinate catering services and special events to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Maintain inventory control and manage food costs effectively.
- Utilize Toast POS system for efficient order processing and sales tracking.
- Lead by example in promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence among staff members.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies regarding food safety.
- Analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management, particularly within quick service or fast food restaurant environments.
- Strong knowledge of food management principles and practices.
- Demonstrated ability in training development and staff training initiatives.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Familiarity with catering operations and event management is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
- Proficient in using Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, staff, and vendors.
