Our guests come to us to Celebrate Life One Bite at a Time, and we’re looking for a motivated Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help lead one of our high-performing locations. This is a hands-on leadership role with opportunity for growth, mentorship, and impact.
The Role
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supporting and executing all day-to-day operations in the Front of House (FOH), while helping drive culture, accountability, and excellence in service. You’ll partner closely with the General Manager and work cross-functionally with the Back of House (BOH), Beverage, and Executive teams.
The AGM is expected to lead by example — from being a visible presence on the floor to managing costs, labor, training, and team performance. You’ll also act as the Manager on Duty when the GM is off-site, ensuring consistent operations and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily FOH operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and guest-focused service
- Take full ownership of the restaurant during Manager on Duty shifts
- Actively engage with guests, lead the floor, and drive hospitality standards
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of FOH staff
- Manage bar inventory and weekly counts, report accurate COGS for the bar
- Collaborate with the Beverage Director to ensure quality and consistency in beverage program
- Monitor KPIs, including labor and sales performance, based on Aloha reporting
- Prepare FOH schedules and staffing plans
- Ensure checklists, opening/closing routines, and service procedures are consistently followed
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and local/state regulations
- Participate in and lead ongoing training and self-development
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of restaurant leadership experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, budgeting, and labor management
- Familiarity with P&L and cost control
- Proficiency in inventory systems and scheduling platforms
- ServSafe and TIPS certifications (preferred)
- Able to lead with confidence while supporting a positive, team-first culture
- Commitment to providing outstanding guest service
- Open availability, including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to travel between locations or concepts as needed
Career Growth & Compensation Path
Our AGMs follow a structured career path with clear milestones, support, and financial incentives:
- Level 1: Training & onboarding phase (base salary)
- Level 2 (12-week minimum): Eligible for up to $3,000 annually in bonuses, paid monthly based on performance
- Level 3 (6-week minimum): 2.5% base salary increase + bonus eligibility
- Level 4 (6-week minimum): Additional 2.5% base salary increase + continued bonuses
- Level 5 (6-week minimum): Eligible to interview for a General Manager role as openings arise
