About Us
NY Sign Art has been designing, fabricating, and installing custom signage since 1994. We specialize in architectural signs, channel letters, vinyl graphics, monuments, pylon signs, ADA signage, and nationwide installations. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Sign Installer to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Install all types of interior and exterior signage
- Install channel letters, cabinet signs, dimensional letters, vinyl graphics, window graphics, and wall murals
- Operate bucket trucks, lifts, ladders, and power tools safely
- Read installation drawings and work orders
- Load, unload, and transport signs to job sites
- Troubleshoot installation issues in the field
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site
- Communicate professionally with customers and project managers
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
Qualifications
- Experience installing commercial signs preferred (5+ years)
- Construction, electrical, welding, or fabrication experience is a plus
- Comfortable working at heights
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs
- Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
- Ability to use power tools and measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
Preferred Skills
- Vinyl installation
- Crane or bucket truck experience
- Electrical sign wiring
- Welding or fabrication experience
- NYC SST Card
