Summary
We are seeking a Patient and Surgical Coordinator to join our team at the Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center of Cape Cod. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing surgical schedules, coordinating patient care, and ensuring smooth operations within our practice.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate surgical schedules and ensure timely communication with patients and medical staff.
- Manage insurance verification and referrals to ensure accurate insurance claims and patient billing.
- Provide administrative support for medical records and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist in the development of care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers.
- Provide customer service to patients calling for appointments as well as for patients checking in and out for appointments
- Schedule appointments and follow-ups for patients undergoing clinical office visits, post operative visits and surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or administrative support
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with medical records management and confidentiality protocols.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
