Job Summary
The New River Valley Recovery Court Team is looking for a Clinician! The Recovery Court Clinician provides direct community treatment services for participants of the Recovery Court Program who have been diagnosed with a substance use disorder and are involved with the criminal justice system. The Clinician works as a part of the Recovery Court Team to provide comprehensive evaluations, psycho-education, individual and group counseling services. Develops and maintains working relationships with participants and the Recovery Court Team to identify areas of need and ensure quality services.
Starting Salary: $50,400.00 - Depending on Experience.
Educational Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or other licensed- eligible human services field is required
- State of Virginia License in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy is preferred.
- License eligibility is required if not fully licensed and registration with the appropriate board is required within three months of hire.
- At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities is preferred.
