American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level II trauma hospital in Fort Pierce, FL, requiring 2–4 years of acute care case management experience and a Florida or Compact RN license.

Acute care case management role within the main hospital building of a Level II trauma hospital with 440 beds, including associated rehab and psych units

RN/SW/CMA triad model team structure

InterQual knowledge required for initial and concurrent stay reviews (CSR) and discharge assessments; UR team is offsite
-
Fast-paced, high-acuity environment

8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Rotating every other weekend required
-
Float assignment — must be adaptable to every unit assigned

EMR systems used include Meditech, Midas, Nate, Outlook, and iMobile
-
Active FL or Compact RN license required

2–4 years of RN Case Management experience in an acute care facility

BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted

Two professional references required (due to Florida state requirement)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Orientation will be completed at a separate HCA facility before transitioning to the primary assignment location

HCA experience is preferred

Business casual attire with a white lab coat required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible, no exceptions
