Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Therapist (LPC/MSW) to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Deliver individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions
- Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote therapy sessions while maintaining clinical documentation standards aligned with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or co-occurring disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts and ensure continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care using EMR/EHR systems in compliance with clinical ethical guidelines.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in clinical settings such as outpatient clinics or hospitals.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavior management strategies.
- Prior experience conducting mental health assessments utilizing ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic purposes.
- Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and delivering services remotely while adhering to HIPAA standards.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Strong understanding of crisis intervention protocols and managing emergency situations effectively.
- Experience working within clinical documentation standards for medical records and supporting research initiatives related to behavioral health or mental health outcomes.
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
