This is a full time, seasonal position that runs from 2/1/2026-12/20/2026.
The Night Shift Employee is the staff member responsible for all Swag operations during overnight shift hours, focusing on Front Office operations, night folio financials and hotel safety/security. The Night Audit assists the Guest Service team in all aspects of the operations including but not limited to reservations, phone inquiries, on-site guest requests, departure and housekeeping paperwork in accordance with Swag policies and procedures. The Night Auditor provides leadership and support to all members of the Front Office and enforces the Swag Standards of Excellence in all areas.
The successful Guest Services Specialist will:
- Have formal education, training or equivalent experience in hospitality industry, preferably the role of providing guest services
- Demonstrate aptitude for sales, contact management and business networking
- Have knowledge of computer applications as demonstrated by experience with hospitality management systems, Microsoft Windows and Office products, and use of the internet
- Be comfortable with diversity and able to help others feel respected and included
- Posses a high attention to detail
- Structured time management
- Willingness to assist others
- Experience completing maintenance problems
- Must be comfortable handling an emergency situation
- Have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
- Be personable, reliable, honest, detail-oriented and organized
- Have extensive knowledge of The Swag, GSMNP and WNC area
