1.0 PURPOSE
To implement the company’s Quality Policy and ensure that the requirements of ISO 13485:2016 and other applicable industry standards are maintained.
To be a key member of Molding who helps us meet our goals for on-time delivery of quality products to our customers.
2.0 RESPONSIBILITIES/AUTHORITY
· Set-up injection molding machines and secondary equipment as related to the molding process.
· Maintenance of equipment on floor as directed.
3.0 DUTIES
· Install and uninstall molds in machines according to work order specifications
· Answering to machine alarms
· Follow and document process for mold installation process
· Perform mold changes in a safe and efficient manner.
· Use a crane hoist to perform mold changes.
· Participate in OSHA compliance activities.
· Set up robots and End of Arm tooling to remove parts and runners.
· Responsible for proper handling and care of all materials, molds, and tooling.
· First and last pieces
· Responsible for clear and consistent communication between shifts.
· Responsible for the continuous operation of production equipment.
· Ensure a positive work environment and awareness of company goals and objectives.
· Maintain a clean and safe working environment
· Be able to perform basic physical tasks such as lifting 25lbs, pushing, pulling, reading, nimbleness of hands for typing and writing.
· Must be able to work flexible hours
4.0 EDUCATION
· High school graduate or equivalent plus training in injection molding a plus
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
