Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vehicle Reconditioning Service Technician to join our dynamic automotive team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to optimal condition through comprehensive reconditioning processes, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer expectations. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough vehicle reconditioning tasks including cosmetic repairs, mechanical adjustments, and system diagnostics to restore vehicles to showroom quality.
- Conduct repairs on automotive suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and alignments to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
- Utilize schematics, diagnostic tools, and automotive electrical systems knowledge to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Repair powertrain components such as transmissions, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features to enhance vehicle functionality.
- Carry out routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and auto body repairs as needed.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of reconditioning projects while maintaining high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive repair industry experience with a strong background in vehicle mechanical systems repair.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electrical systems is essential.
- Experience working with diesel engines, transmissions, ADAS technology, auto body repair, and heavy equipment mechanics is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with automotive suspension systems repair, alignment procedures, brake repair, shocks & struts replacement, and oil change services.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools confidently.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Certification in automotive repair or relevant technical training is preferred; dealership experience is a plus.

Pay: $25.38 - $30.57 per hour
