Catalyst Brands, formerly JCPenney Logistics, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Timekeeping Senior Detail Assistant to support payroll and workforce administration activities within a distribution and logistics warehouse environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of employee time records, supporting payroll processes, maintaining confidential information, and providing administrative support for key HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Review, reconcile, and maintain employee timekeeping records to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Perform timekeeping system audits, corrections and submissions in accordance with payroll deadlines.
- Support hours and payroll issue resolution.
- Prepare and maintain reports, records, and track documents related to attendance, training, and payroll.
- Create, update, and maintain standard work documentation and process guides.
- Assist with training, compliance tracking, and audit preparation.
- Support associate engagement activities and special events.
- Assist with mailroom, filing, and other administrative functions, as assigned.
- Crosstrain in various reporting and administrative processes to support business continuity.
- Provide professional support to associates and leadership regarding timekeeping and payroll-related inquiries.
- Always maintain strict confidentiality of associate information.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years previous payroll, timekeeping, administrative, HR, or clerical experience highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Windows-based applications.
- Experience working with payroll or timekeeping systems is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent time management including punctuality and attendance.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Office setting within a commercial industrial warehouse.
- Schedule may vary based on business needs and payroll processing requirements.
- Flexibility is required, including the ability to work weekends, holidays, and adjusted schedules when necessary.
- May serve as a resource to support payroll and timekeeping coverage during unplanned absences.
- Vacation scheduling may require coordination with other team members to ensure adequate department coverage.
