- Manage inventory levels and ordering to maintain optimal stock
- Lead food preparation activities, including but not limited to chopping, cooking, and plating dishes
- Coordinate shift management to guarantee efficient workflow and timely service
- Uphold food safety standards and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with the culinary team for menu development and recipe enhancements
- Oversee the dietary department to meet dietary restrictions and preferences
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the food industry or culinary field
- Proficient in supervising kitchen operations and managing staff effectively
- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures
- Expertise in various aspects of food preparation, including cooking techniques and presentation
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the industry
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent multitasking abilities
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
