Your Mission
You'll be the final set of eyes before a pair of Zellerfeld shoes moves forward in the production process or reaches a customer. Your mission is to ensure every pair meets our quality standards by identifying defects, documenting findings, and communicating issues clearly with the production team.
You'll play an important role in preventing quality issues, improving consistency, and helping us continuously improve our processes.
What You'll Do
- Inspect 3D-printed shoes at different stages of production for visual, structural, and overall quality
- Identify defects or inconsistencies in areas such as print quality, shape, pattern, finish, sizing, and overall appearance
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards when inspecting products
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate, organized QC records
- Identify and track recurring defects or quality issues
- Properly document, separate, and report rejected or non-conforming products
- Communicate quality concerns clearly to Production Leads and other team members
- Work closely with the production team to identify issues early and prevent repeat defects
- Provide feedback and observations that can help improve quality standards, training, and production processes
- Ensure approved products meet Zellerfeld's quality expectations before moving to the next stage
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe QC workspace
- Support other quality-related tasks as production needs change
Your Profile

- Able to follow established quality standards and SOPs consistently
- Comfortable documenting findings and maintaining simple, organized records
- Able to communicate quality concerns clearly and professionally
- Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Able to work independently while also collaborating closely with Production and QC team members
- Previous experience with quality inspection, product checking, sorting, manufacturing, garments, footwear, food inspection, or similar hands-on work is a plus
- Experience in footwear, fashion, manufacturing, crafts, or other detail-oriented work is a plus
- No technical degree required
- Based in Austin or the surrounding area
- Willing to work assigned shifts, including weekends when scheduled

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
