Job Summary
Care N Home, LLC is seeking dedicated and compassionate PRN (as-needed) nurses to provide specialized vent patient care in. The ideal candidates will possess a strong clinical background, excellent assessment skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality nursing care in the home setting. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing expert ventilator management and comprehensive nursing support.
Work as an Independent Contractor setting your own schedule.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert nursing care to ventilator-dependent patient, ensuring optimal respiratory support and patient safety.
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient condition.
- Administer medications via Gtube
- Work independently in home setting.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or changes in patient status, utilizing critical care response procedures as needed.
Requirements
- Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Virginia with current CPR/BLS certification.
- Experience working with ventilated patients is preferred.
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices.
- Strong assessment skills with the ability to perform physical examinations and evaluate patient physiology
- Ability to work independently on an as-needed basis while maintaining high standards of patient care.
