We are looking for a Dental Hygienist on Mondays 8am-5pm pay varies by experience and on single vs double booking

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental hygiene services, ensuring infection prevention, and supporting our commitment to patient education and comfort.
Duties
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to maintain optimal oral health for patients of all ages.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Assess vital signs and medical history to evaluate patient health status before procedures.
- Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including documentation review, medical coding, and EHR management, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and infection control measures, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and record management.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and general dentistry procedures.
- Experience with pediatric dentistry practices and pediatric patient care strategies.
- Skilled in dental assisting techniques, including chairside assisting and medical imaging procedures.
- Ability to accurately measure vital signs and perform patient assessments with professionalism and empathy.
- Expertise in healthcare infection prevention and control practices aligned with OSHA standards.
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
