Job Overview
The Sales Representative will be based in Kenner LA. and will be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals for our rentals business. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients. The successful candidate will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in rental industry and energy sector is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Field-based / Outside Sales (travel required within territory)
- Responsible for exploring and developing business opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with existing and potential clients (decision-makers in target industries).
- Executing strategic and tactical business plans.
- Conduct in-person sales calls, presentations, product/service demonstrations, and site visits.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share for our medium & light equipment rentals business.
- Provide sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Negotiating with clients and closing deals to generate revenue.
- Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts who may be determining potential opportunities and deal with existing business challenges.
- Negotiation of terms & conditions with customers.
- To perform any other task within scope of ability and area of responsibility as directed by senior management.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, customer service) to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments in the region.
- Grow and expand our rental business in the US.
- Travel regularly within the territory (vehicle provided or allowance).
- Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work independently in a field-based role.
- Carry out any tasks assigned by the direct manager.
- B2B and outside sales experience is needed.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant field experience.
Experience
- A minimum of two years' experience as B2B Sales, preferable experience in Heavy Equipment, Construction, Energy (Oil & Gas preferred)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $5,000.00 - $6,500.00 per month
