Compensation
$18.50 – $21.00 per hour (based on qualifications)
Compensation increases based on education:
- CDA Credential – starting at $18.50/hr
- Director Credential – starting at $20.00/hr
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or related field – up to $21.00/hr

What You Will Do
As an Assistant Director, you will support the Director in managing the daily operations of the school while helping maintain a nurturing, safe, and high-quality environment for children, families, and staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the daily operation of the school
- Supervising teachers and assisting with staff development
- Ensuring compliance with Florida DCF licensing regulations
- Supporting enrollment and conducting family tours
- Assisting with staff hiring and training
- Maintaining student and staff records
- Supporting curriculum implementation and classroom quality
- Assisting with financial operations and school organization
- Acting as Director when the Director is absent

Qualifications
- CDA required
- Director Credential preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or related field preferred
- Previous childcare teaching or management experience
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- DCF required training courses
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
- Bilingual - Spanish/English
