## Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation and logistics activities to ensure prompt delivery of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
## Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers and drivers
- Monitor routes and track shipments to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status
- Utilize dispatching software and tools to optimize transportation efficiency
- Assist in resolving any issues or delays in transportation operations
- Maintain accurate records of dispatching activities
## Skills
- Proficiency in dispatching procedures and logistics operations
- Knowledge of GIS systems for route planning
- Experience in transportation planning and supply chain management
- Familiarity with 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations
- Understanding of shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to use Oracle Transportation Management software or similar tools
- Strong data entry skills for updating shipment information accurately
- Knowledge of fleet management practices
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Pay: $22.75 - $25.50 per hour
