Do you have strong sales skills and a passion for building business relationships and driving growth? RAS is looking to hire a Business Development Manager for the Minnesota/Wisconsin territory.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for achieving profitable growth objectives across the Minnesota and Wisconsin territory. In this role, you will drive the expansion of the Workers’ Compensation portfolio by developing new agency partnerships, strengthening existing relationships, and building a strong network of professional business contacts.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will develop and execute tactical business plans that support long-term territory strategies and growth goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales leader who thrives on identifying opportunities, cultivating partnerships, and delivering sustainable, profitable growth.
This position offers a home-based work opportunity. The successful candidate must reside in the assigned territory which includes the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Frequent travel with some overnight stays will be required (50-75% travel).
What we are looking for:

Five or more years of previous insurance underwriting, marketing/business development, sales, workers’ compensation insurance experience, or other related experience required.

Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Bachelor’s degree preferred
