Cox, Kliewer & Company, P.C. is an award-winning Architecture and Interior Design Firm boasting 35+ years of experience. We are seeking an Entry Level Interior Designer / Interior Architect to join our team in Virginia Beach. Our solid reputation stems from long lasting client relationships which allow us the ability to not only practice in the Tidewater area, but across the country. Our work mainly focuses on the multi-family and mixed- use sectors of the industry, while working exclusively with private developers. Additionally, we work on projects in Healthcare, Corporate Office, Industrial, Retail, Hospitality and Custom Single Family Residential.
Our firm is mid-sized for our region, providing our staff with the opportunity to be involved with multiple projects at varying stages of the design process. Our teamwork environment encourages collaboration between the architectural staff and the interior design staff. This approach provides the opportunity to learn from and gain experience in multiple aspects of the field, and all phases of the design and construction process. Despite our modest size, we have been fortunate to have been awarded many high-profile design projects and enjoy a continuing successful relationship with many prominent developers in our region.
This Interior Design position requires developing communication skills, design and technical expertise. We involve our staff in building, maintaining, and managing client relationships. We are searching for highly motivated candidates with the capability to be involved with all aspects of the design and document production process. We look for individuals who can develop, communicate and coordinate creative solutions for project requirements with their colleagues on the project team and with our clients.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA of Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program
- 0-3 years of design experience
- Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketch-up
Jobe Type: Full Time, In-Office
Salary: $50,000 increasing based on level of experience/certification

- September - April Mon. - Fri. 8:00-5:00
- May - August Mon.-Thur. 8:00-6:00/ Fri. 8:00-12:00
