Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various settings, including residential and commercial spaces. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, waxing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction with cleaning services.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or necessary equipment repairs.
- Assist with residential cleaning tasks such as kitchen sanitation, bathroom cleaning, and general housekeeping duties.
- Utilize proper techniques for carpet cleaning and upholstery care when required.
- Adhere to safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred; hotel or commercial cleaning experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and sanitation practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management principles is beneficial.
- Familiarity with cooking is an asset but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
