Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair, with the ability to operate various types of tow trucks, including flatbeds. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage conflicts effectively while providing assistance to stranded motorists.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tow trucks to transport vehicles to designated locations.
- Perform automotive diagnostics and minor repairs as needed on-site.
- Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and vehicle conditions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
- Manage conflicts with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction during stressful situations.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure safe operation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair.
- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles and forklifts.
- Experience with commercial driving, including valid commercial driver's license
- Ability to perform automotive diagnostics effectively.
- Excellent conflict management skills for handling diverse customer interactions.
- Familiarity with flatbed towing techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
