Fitter / Tailor Position at Atelier Couture
Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Pay: $25-$35 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 3-5 days per week

Opened in June 2024, Atelier Couture is an alterations and tailoring service in Williamsburg. We specialize in expert tailoring and alterations for high-end clothing. We work with meticulous attention to detail. From simple adjustments to complex restorations, our team ensures every piece fits and looks its best.
The Role:
We are looking for a skilled Fitter / Tailor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for craftsmanship who enjoys working in a boutique setting with luxury garments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform alterations and tailoring on various garments, including dresses, suits, denim and outerwear, Bridal, etc.
- Fittings with customers
- Work with delicate fabrics and complex designs with precision
- Communicate with clients when needed to ensure their expectations are met
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
- Professional experience in tailoring and alterations (at least 10 years)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with luxury fabrics
- Ability to work with complex garments such as blazer jackets.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Good english
