Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. This dynamic role involves monitoring property, controlling access points, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility using CCTV surveillance systems and physical inspections to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats.
- Manage access control systems to verify identities, authorize entry, and monitor visitor movements in compliance with security protocols.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activities by executing established emergency response procedures, including fire safety, first aid, CPR, AED operation, and incident management.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences with clarity and accuracy for future reference.
- Perform background checks on new employees or contractors as part of the onboarding process to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address criminal activities or investigations while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Handle physical security tasks such as heavy lifting, manual handling, conflict de-escalation, conflict management, and performing searches or pat-downs when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles or military service demonstrating strong surveillance skills and familiarity with law enforcement procedures.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, firearm handling (if applicable), and compliance with security regulations are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, incident report writing, and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to manage conflict effectively and de-escalate tense situations calmly.
- Physical fitness for patrolling large areas, heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform background checks accurately and maintain comprehensive security records.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
