Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Roofing Specialist to join our construction team. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain a variety of roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other specialized materials.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to execute projects accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks.
- Conduct roof inspections to identify damage or potential issues requiring repair or replacement.
- Ensure all work complies with construction safety regulations, including the proper use of safety harnesses and ladder safety protocols.
- Perform siding installation, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry work as needed for restoration or remodeling projects.
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper safety procedures on outdoor construction sites.
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing installation, repair, or related trades such as carpentry or masonry.
- Knowledge of roofing materials including metal roofing, single-ply membranes, and tile laying techniques.
- Familiarity with construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings or schematics.
- Ability to adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence practices.
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction plans.
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks over extended periods.
- Additional skills such as plumbing, welding, framing carpentry (including metal stud framing), restoration work, handyman experience, or tile laying are advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
