Garys Garage: Transport, Towing and Recovery is seeking a full-time, driver to join our Heavy Haul Transport Team!
Our Heavy Haul Transport Drivers are responsible for the transportation of varying loads including but not limited to heavy construction equipment, earth moving equipment, construction vehicles, and material handling equipment. Some loads can be in excess of 100 miles from the shop. You will be home every night.
Ideal candidates will have experience handling heavy equipment as mentioned above, such as excavators, rigs, and other construction tools. We are looking for candidates that want to grow professionally, have flexible schedules, and are highly dependable.
We have positions open for small rollbacks, heavy rollbacks, landolls, lowboys, flatbeds, step decks, van trailers, and specialized bus and conex trailers. No worn out, unreliable equipment. We are a family owned and operated company with over 200 pieces of equipment, we take pride in our employees and customers. We are very family oriented and community driven.
Candidates must have a CDL A and will have to provide a clean driving record via MVR, and have a DOT Medical Card.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute calls given by Fleet Manager.
- Have knowledge and understanding of Gary’s Garage customer base and locations.
- Provide service while having a sense of urgency and abiding all safety requirements.
- Ability to take direction from the Fleet Manager.
- Effectively study a map or use GPS to arrive at destination.
- Operate ALL equipment with care including washing/cleaning truck weekly.
- Thoroughly understand and abide by all safety standards.
- Ability to effectively handle pressure.
- Demonstrate responsiveness to requests from others and provide assistance when needed.
- Establish and maintain professional working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.
- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and adherence to relevant health and safety procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
