The role
Kickoff is hiring many Registered Dietitians to join our remote coaching platform and your job will be to interview, sell, and onboard them while providing an incredible first touch for all dietitians we hire.
You'll be the single point of contact for a Registered Dietitian from their first conversation with Kickoff all the way through the day they take their first client. You interview them, you sell them, you send the offer, and then you stay — through paperwork, insurance credentialing, and training — until they're live and seeing clients.
You will NOT be required to produce your own RD pipeline. You'll inherit a funnel that already produces hundreds of qualified candidates a month. Your job is to sell them on the role, help them through onboarding, and make the whole process as painless as possible.
What you'll do
- Own a pipeline of RD candidates end to end — first conversation through first client. One point of contact, no handoffs, no "that's another team."
- Run 5–10 interviews a day, tailoring your approach to every RD, including whether Kickoff would be their primary role or supplemental income — those are very different conversations.
- Sell the opportunity credibly. Comp, W-2 vs. 1099, the insurance-covered model, a full caseload from day one, CPT sponsorship. Answer the hard questions — scope of practice, taxes, multi-state licensure, caseload ramp — without hand-waving.
- Move fast on offers. Same-day where the answer is clearly yes. Speed is the single biggest lever on acceptance, and we intend to win on it.
- Stay with candidates after they sign. Onboarding paperwork, profile completion, credentialing submission, training sessions, first client assignment. Chase what needs chasing, and know the difference between someone who needs questions answered over email and who needs a call to check in.
- Run live unblocking sessions — screen-share office hours to get candidates through onboarding steps in one sitting instead of a week of email.
- Hold the quality bar. Vet against our RD/CDR, experience, and commitment requirements. Disqualify clearly and early. Quality cannot erode as volume goes up.
- Build the system as you go. Templates, sequences, reminder workflows, dashboards — whatever lets you carry more candidates without dropping any of them.
- Close the loop with the rest of the company. Tell marketing which channels produce coaches who actually activate (not just who apply), and tell operations what's breaking in credentialing.
How you'll be measured
- Activated coaches per month — RDs who took a first client. This is the number.
- Offer acceptance rate
- Accepted-offer → activated conversion
- Median days from interview to first client
We care about how many great RDs are seeing clients because of you.
You'll be a good fit if:
- You have 1–3+ years in recruiting, SDR/BDR, or a provider- or customer-facing operations role, and you've carried a number you were held to.
- You've managed a high-volume pipeline without losing people in it — dozens of open conversations at once, and nothing slips.
- You're excellent on phone, video, email, and text, and you get energy from talking to people all day rather than being drained by it.
- You're hyper-organized in a way that shows up in your systems, not just your intentions.
- You're genuinely willing to do the unglamorous half — credentialing paperwork, document chasing, follow-up nobody thanks you for. This is half the job, and it's the half that makes the other half count.
- You learn a detailed process quickly, then improve it. You'll be handed real problems with no established answer.
- You're motivated by expanding access to care and interested in nutrition, fitness, and health — enough to speak about it credibly with clinicians.
- You thrive when things change. This role will look different in six months. And you can dictate how.
Nice to have
- Healthcare provider recruiting, credentialing, or telehealth operations experience
- Familiarity with CAQH, payer credentialing timelines, or W-2 vs. 1099 classification
- Experience with an ATS and outbound sequencing tooling
- A track record of building process or automation, not just executing someone else's
