Join our dynamic team as an Installer Glazier, where you will play a vital role in transforming spaces through expert glass and glazing installations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from commercial storefronts to residential remodels, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and fabricating glass and related materials with precision and efficiency, contributing to the aesthetic and functional excellence of each project. Duties
- Measure, cut, and install glass panels, windows, doors, and custom glazing solutions according to project specifications and blueprints
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively to complete installations
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to ensure accurate placement and fitting of glass components
- Perform heavy lifting of glass panels and framing materials while maintaining safety standards
- Seal, caulk, and finish installations with precision to ensure durability and weatherproofing
- Assist with construction site preparation, including framing, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, and drywall work as needed
- Complete remodeling tasks such as fixture installation, cabinet hanging, door hanging, and metal framing to support overall project completion
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating to accurately assess project needs and materials
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and fabrication equipment for precise work
- Experience in glass installation, including handling large panels safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing and finishing touches
- Strong carpentry skills including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, door hanging, and cabinet installation
- Experience with remodeling projects involving drywall finishing, painting touch-ups, metal stud framing, fixture installation, and handyman tasks
- Capable of heavy lifting while maintaining safety protocols on construction sites
- Familiarity with schematics for fixture setup or custom glazing projects
- Previous construction site experience demonstrating adaptability across various tasks such as metal framing or remodeling projects
