A mission-driven, faith-based nonprofit organization is seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant / Operations Associate to support its Technology Operations team. This individual will provide administrative, project coordination, communications, event, and onboarding support while helping the department stay organized and operate effectively.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of administrative experience, including hands-on scheduling and coordination responsibilities, and is comfortable working within an explicitly Christian organization.
- Coordinate logistics for team meetings, events, retreats, conferences, and special projects.
- Schedule meetings and manage administrative details for cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Support monthly KPI reporting, Board materials, donor reporting, proposals, and other department documentation.
- Track deadlines, gather information, organize documentation, and assist with project coordination.
- Partner with leadership and product teams to gather and organize content for internal communications, ministry updates, donor materials, and newsletters.
- Support recruiting administration, including organizing requisitions and job descriptions, coordinating interview schedules, and facilitating communication with candidates and hiring leaders.
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding activities, including equipment, scheduling, communications, and documentation.
- Assist with team culture initiatives and other administrative projects as needed.
- Provide dependable follow-up and maintain organization across multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in Communications, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Ministry Leadership, or a related field; candidates with an Associate’s degree and strong relevant experience may also be considered.
- 2+ years of administrative, operations, project coordination, or communications experience required.
- Must have direct experience with administrative coordination and scheduling; candidates with only call center or customer service experience will not be a fit.
- Experience coordinating meetings, events, projects, onboarding activities, or cross-functional initiatives strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace required.
- Experience using AI tools to improve accuracy and efficiency required.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms preferred.
- Experience with help desk/customer support tools, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, knowledge-base systems, or content-creation tools is a plus.
- Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Able to work independently in a fully remote environment while supporting multiple stakeholders.
This position is with an explicitly Christian, faith-based organization. Candidates must be comfortable working in an environment where faith is incorporated into daily work and organizational culture.
The successful candidate should demonstrate alignment with Christian values and the organization’s biblical mission, including comfort participating in prayer, devotional activities, faith-based events, and other mission-centered organizational practices.
