We are seeking an experienced Front Office Coordinator Lead to support daily front office operations and help create a positive experience for our patients, providers, and staff.
In this role, you will serve as a key resource for front office activities including patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, customer service, charge entry, collections, and cash reconciliation. You will also provide guidance and support to front office team members while helping ensure efficient and accurate practice operations.
Schedule: Mon- Thur 8:00am-4:30pm, Fri 8:00-3:00pm
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and visitors by providing exceptional customer service, managing incoming calls, verifying demographics and insurance information, registering patients, collecting payments, and coordinating patient check-in and check-out activities.

Coordinate patient access and scheduling functions, including appointment management, provider calendar maintenance, referral processing, appointment confirmations, and arranging follow-up visits and ancillary services.

Maintain accurate patient records and office operations by managing documentation, preparing charts, coordinating clinical information, processing correspondence, ordering supplies, and supporting efficient day-to-day practice workflows.

Support revenue cycle activities through charge entry, coding review, billing and collections support, cash reconciliation, deposit preparation, and accurate end-of-day financial balancing and reporting.

Provide leadership and operational support by training and mentoring front office staff, serving as a workflow resource, assisting with practice start-up initiatives, and supporting continuous improvement efforts to enhance patient and practice outcomes.
Work Experience
Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.

College coursework preferred.

Minimum of four (4) years of front office, patient access, customer service, or related experience required.

Previous healthcare experience required.

Experience with patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and medical office workflows strongly preferred.

Prior leadership, mentoring, or lead experience preferred.
Required Certification

Scheduling and Registration Certification required within six (6) months of hire.

Working knowledge of medical procedural coding and charge entry.
