Roles & Responsibilities:
- Transit Operator-The Surveyor’s primary function is to conduct on-the-ground observation and data collection across public transportation systems. Responsibilities include:
- Following predefined data collection protocols while riding buses, subways, or trains.
- Tracking specific waypoints, events, and observations tied to system behavior or routing.
- Handling data capture using assigned mobile devices or apps.
- Navigating through transit stations and lines safely and efficiently.
- Reporting anomalies, delays, or system behavior inconsistencies.
- Communicating with the Field Coordinator regularly for updates and direction.
- Maintaining discretion and professionalism during fieldwork.
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
