Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Farm Hand/Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining farm operations and operating heavy machinery. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a variety of farm machinery and heavy equipment, including tractors, sprayers, and harvesters, ensuring optimal performance through routine inspections and repairs.
- Assist with planting, cultivating, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops.
- Perform equipment repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and other maintenance skills to keep machinery in top condition.
- Supervise or assist with other team members in daily farm activities, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain detailed records of farm activities, and equipment maintenance logs.
Experience
- Previous experience working on a farm or in agriculture is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating farm machinery and heavy equipment.
- Experience with welding, equipment repair, and general maintenance tasks is advantageous.
- Supervisory experience is a plus but not required; leadership skills are valued for team collaboration.
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking is essential.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
