Compass Intervention Center has been providing psychiatric services to the Memphis area for more than 29-years. Compass Intervention Center is located in Southwest Tennessee. This convenient location provides access to larger communities in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. We work with children and families throughout the United States, including military families overseas.
Compass Intervention Center is a free-standing residential treatment center open to male and female children and adolescents from ages 10 to 17. Residential treatment, virtual programs, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services are available to male and female adolescents ages 10 to 17.
Compass offers a full continuum of care for psychiatric treatment of adolescents and is the only facility in the State of Tennessee that offers every level of care to adolescents.
Created to serve adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 years old, the Acute Adolescent Program offers treatment for psychiatric and emotional problems.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to support our organization’s HR functions and foster a positive, compliant, and productive workplace environment. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in human capital management, employee relations, and HRIS systems, with a passion for developing strategic HR initiatives that align with organizational goals. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a vital role in managing talent acquisition, employee onboarding, performance management, and compliance efforts.
Responsibilities
- Oversee talent acquisition processes and high-volume recruitment efforts through ATS platforms such as Workday, and iCIMS, ensuring effective sourcing and interviewing of candidates.
- Administer employee orientation programs to facilitate smooth onboarding and integration into the organization.
- Manage employee evaluation procedures and performance management initiatives to promote continuous development.
- Maintain employee relations by addressing workplace concerns promptly and mediating conflicts with effective conflict management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law standards, OSHA regulations, and affirmative action planning requirements.
- Assist in organizational design projects and strategic planning efforts to optimize workforce management and succession planning initiatives.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years of human resources experience, preferably in a health care setting
- Proven experience in human resources management within a dynamic organizational environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS systems including ICIMS, Workday or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law regulations such as FMLA, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation policies.
- Experience in talent acquisition strategies utilizing ATS tools like iCIMS or Workday.
- Background in employee relations, conflict management, and training & development programs.
- Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques to attract top talent.
- Excellent communication skills combined with organizational expertise in project management and administrative functions.

Pay: $56,985.78 - $68,628.04 per year
