We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and clinical excellence-driven Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP) to join our team in a hybrid (mobile/in-clinic) capacity. This position will start on a part-time basis, with the distinct opportunity and ability to easily build into a full-time schedule. This role is ideal for a clinician who loves autonomy, enjoys meeting patients in their natural environments, and wants to specialize in medical speech-language pathology.
Speech-Language Pathologists provide diagnostics and intervention to patients in varying states of health and illness. The speech-language pathologist (SLP) functions as an essential member of clinical treatment team providing direct care to patients in their home or community environment. They provide evaluation and differential diagnosis of the communication, cognitive, voice, upper airway, and/or swallowing disorders. They provide treatment and symptom monitoring, and education and counseling to the patient, family, or care provider.
Knowledge of dysphagia, voice, EILO/ILO, motor speech disorders, aphasia, and neural bases of language and cognition are important for this position. SLPs must demonstrate dedication to continuous professional growth and to the continuous improvement of patient care. SLPs may be involved in consultative services within the organization and in the community.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- M.A. or M.S. degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence by American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligible preferred, but exceptional Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP) are highly encouraged to apply (robust, high-quality clinical mentorship is provided)
- Florida state licensure or eligibility required
- BLS certification
- Strong foundational interest or experience in medical SLP competencies (e.g., voice analysis, dysphagia management, upper airway)
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in the field
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients, families, and other professionals
- Conduct clinical evaluations and treatment for adults with voice, swallowing, upper airway, and neurogenic disorders
- Develop and implement objective, measurable, and functional treatment plans (including utilizing acoustic metrics, specialized swallowing protocols, and patient-reported outcome scales)
- Knowledge and proficiency of trauma-informed, evidence-based practice
- Ability to analyze and interpret assessment results
- Maintain timely, high-quality documentation and track patient progress rigorously
- Manage a daily travel schedule to see patients efficiently within their homes, community settings, and/or in-clinic
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation
- FEES/videostrobe experience would be a plus
- Ampcare ESP certification would be a plus
- MDTP certification would be a plus
- SPEAK OUT! training would be a plus

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
