We’re working with a growing manufacturer seeking a Receiving Operations Supervisor to support the continued expansion of its operations. This newly created role will lead the front end of the manufacturing process, overseeing the receiving of materials while partnering closely with Processing, Production, Quality, and Maintenance. Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of eight employees
- Oversee raw material receiving, testing, sampling, and product flow into production.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and all applicable food safety and regulatory requirements, including PMO, SQF, FSMA, GMP, and OSHA.
- Partner with Processing, Production, Quality, and Maintenance to maximize throughput and minimize product loss.
- Monitor KPIs, receiving documentation, laboratory records, and operational performance.
- Coordinate quality investigations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure receiving equipment is maintained through preventive maintenance programs.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and operational efficiency.
- Serve as the primary supervisor for Receiving on 2nd shift.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma; Associate degree in related field preferred.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.
- Experience with perishable liquids is mandatory
- Knowledge of PMO, SQF, FSMA, GMP, and OSHA requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience developing employees, managing performance, and driving continuous improvement.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and manufacturing documentation systems.
- Comfortable working independently while leading a critical operation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- The ability to work 2nd shift hours.
Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour
