This role is for an Optical Transport / DWDM Network Engineer who will design, provision, troubleshoot, and support long-haul optical fiber networks. They need someone with hands-on experience in carrier/service-provider optical transport environments.
This role combines design + provisioning + troubleshooting for long-haul DWDM networks. The client is seeking a candidate with hands-on experience in provisioning, configuring, and testing optical transport networks.
In an optical transport network, provisioning, configuration, and testing are the practical steps required to turn up a new wavelength/circuit so customer traffic can flow across the backbone.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
