Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse Administrator to lead and oversee the clinical operations within our healthcare facility. Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for nursing services, ensuring high-quality patient care across all departments.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on excellence in patient outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures aligned with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, ensuring compliance at all levels.
- Oversee staffing schedules, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize productivity and service delivery.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing clinical data, managing utilization review processes, and implementing best practices.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including medical records, case management, and administrative staff to streamline operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards in emergency medicine, ICU protocols, hospice care, and other specialized areas such as Level I Trauma Center or PICU settings.
- Manage EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for accurate documentation and reporting.
- Facilitate staff training on medical terminology, healthcare compliance, and technical proficiency in healthcare management tools.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by leading audits, compliance reviews, and staff development programs.
Skills
- Extensive experience in critical care environments including ICU, emergency medicine, or trauma centers such as Level I or Level II Trauma Centers.
- Proven leadership in nursing management with supervising experience across diverse healthcare settings like assisted living, hospice, or home health agencies.
- Strong background in patient care with specialized knowledge in senior care, acute care, hospital medicine, or hospice services.
- Familiarity with medical records systems (EMR/EHR), HIPAA regulations, and healthcare compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement initiatives and manage utilization review processes effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with experience in operations management, budgeting, productivity software, and case management tools.
- Technical proficiency in healthcare management software platforms along with strong medical terminology knowledge.
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while maintaining high standards of safety and service excellence.
