DC Excavation, LLC is hiring for the position of Foreman. We are searching for self motivated, knowledgeable individuals with an experienced background in the civil construction industry, specifically in underground utilities. Candidates should be well versed in the installation of water main, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer. DC Excavation was founded in 2016 in Bozeman, MT performing work in the residential market and has since grown into the larger commercial and public works sectors of the industry. DC Excavation performs a wide variety of work and is seeking a proactive individual to lead our crews safely and efficiently in the field.
Job Tasks:
- Manage crews to meet all safety and production goals for each project.
- Communicating and coordinating schedules with General Contractors and owners.
- Ensuring a final high quality product is provided to General Contractors and Owners.
- Providing a finished product that adheres to all plans and specifications for the applicable project.
- Track and log quantities and activities for each shift and submitting them in a report to the main office daily.
- Coordinating daily and upcoming tasks with General Contractors and subcontractors on each project.
- Collaborate with other crews, managers, and estimators to determine labor, material, and resources needed.
- Managing and enforcing safety policies of the company, General Contractors, and Owners on each project site.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5 years experience as a lead operator or foreman in the civil construction industry.
- Efficient communication skills.
- Experience in site earthwork, underground utilities, mass grading, and fine grading for roadways, foundations, slabs, and flatwork.
- Experience with Trimble GPS/Topcon GPS systems is preferred, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Wage is DOE but starting at $40/HR
