Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations by regularly cleaning work areas, sinks, and dish racks.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and ensuring proper storage of clean items.
- Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing services to meet event schedules.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation standards.
- Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen area to uphold a hygienic environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Basic understanding of food handling safety protocols.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail in cleaning and organization.
