Straight Mile Carrier is looking for a hungry, motivated CDL A Hotshot Driver ready to help the company expand.
You will be operating a brand-new 2026 Ram 3500 dually paired with a Big Tex 40’ CDL step deck trailer, running OTR nationwide freight. We are preparing to put this truck on the road within the next 1–2 weeks and are looking for the right driver to grow with the company long-term.
Schedule
- (Minimum) 3 Weeks On / 1 Week Off
- OTR Nationwide Routes
- Consistent Miles & Freight
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be based in or near Miami, FL
- CLEAN driving record
- No recent tickets
- No accidents
- Able to pass DOT requirements
- Experience securing freight with chains, binders, and straps preferred
- Must be comfortable staying out on the road for extended periods

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Ram 3500 and 40’ step deck trailer
- Secure loads properly using chains, straps, and binders
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations
- Deliver freight safely and on time
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, brokers, and customers
